How is it designed to work?
All plans will improve your Speed, Skill, Stamina, and Strength. The triathlon plans work best with the appropriate level of athlete designated. That is; a beginner plan will benefit a beginner more than an advanced athlete and vice-versa. Programs are designed for the typical triathlete who races 1 season per year (spring/summer). These Pre-Season Preparation plans are ideal in the early season (immediately following your time off). After a racing season your body is in a state of imbalance. The plan targets re-balancing your body to prepare for another season of triathlon racing. If you are just starting out it will prepare you for safe and effective progression throughout the season.
A few words from coach PC
"There are a lot of generic training plans on the market. I stayed away from making
these for a while because "cookie cutter" plans have had a bad reputation.
That is until now. The fact is that some athletes can function well on these plans.
Many triathletes may not have the budget or inclination to hire a coach for full-on
program design and management (even though that is ideal). Over the years
dozens of athletes have asked me for a "One-Off" plan.
Now you can get a great one here.
I wanted to put something out there that would be better than the
competition and I believe that these are. The content of the training sessions
is excellent. The Plans come with all the information you need for self "tweaking".
I also tried to make them as easy to read and navigate as possible.
I hope you take advantage."
